Envisioning the Mall of the Future with LVMH
As the global retail environment continues to be upended by continuous disruption and the ongoing challenge to its traditional models, real estate developers are beginning to rethink the definition of the large scale mall. Today, the framework needs to include a strong technology backbone, community building, work and living constructs, interactive programming often tied to retail, next generation food and beverage, wellness, and entertainment offerings, and sustainable solutions. Mall developers are building imaginative cities.
KINDUSTRY was engaged by the developers of Royalmount, Carbon Leo, and L.Catterton (LVMH-backed), to help with the visioning, narrative building, brand architecture, communications, and ideation for the world’s most innovative mall of the future.
Building a sustainable city in Montreál
KINDUSTRY reimagined the DIX30 region in southshore of Montreál, envisioning a dynamic mixed-use development that serves as a symbol of renewal and a communal hub for both local and neighbouring communities.
Our visioning and design philosophy was grounded in sustainability, nature, and elevating the ‘live, play, and work’ experience.
Through this project, we crafted the DIX30 legacy: an elevated human experience that is free, connected, and rejuvenating.
A new vision for a food hall
